How Is The Law Fulfilled In Me?
Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished – Matthew 5:17-18
Message: If we are still trying to obey the law to become righteous then the law has become a bondage to us; but if we are basking in the favor (grace) of God by faith in Christ then the nature of Christ is in us and by our new Christ nature the righteousness of Christ (the law) lives through us.
Affirmation: When my focus is on living out the law it becomes a burden I cannot carry; but, when I focus on walking with Christ his righteousness in me fulfills the law.
Prayer: I need your grace so that I may be righteous through faith in Christ. May your righteousness live through me. Amen.
